Consignment Agreement

  • Agreement Terms

    Jackie on Broadway welcomes clothing, shoes, and accessories in new or gently used condition, that are free from tears, odors, and missing buttons or zippers. All items must be freshly laundered or dry cleaned. Please refrain from bringing items in garbage bags; we will provide hangers for clothing. Any items not selected during curation must be taken home immediately. If defects or stains are found after curation, those items will be donated. Each consignor may bring up to 10 items, and you’re encouraged to check back periodically, as you can consign more items as space allows.

  • Authenticity & Schedule

    Consignor’s warrant that all items consigned are authentic name brands and designer labels. Jackie on Broadway will not be held accountable for misrepresented items or “knock-offs” of designer labels presented as authentic. Item sold and later discovered to be “knock-offs” and returned, will become the sole financial responsibility of the consignor.

    Our seasonal schedule is as follows : Fall = August, September, October; Winter = November, December, January; Spring = February, March, April; Summer = May, June, July

  • Pricing & Sales

    Jackie on Broadway reserves the right to price all consignments. All consignments are marked down by 25% after the first 20 days and 50% after 40 days. High end handbags and high end vintage items are marked down 10% after 20 days and an additional 5% after 40 days. Consignments are offered for sale in the store for up to 60 days.

  • Sold Merchandise

    Proceeds from sold merchandise will be disbursed on the following percentage: 60% Jackie on Broadway 40% consignor. Consignor proceeds will be paid on the 10th of each month via check. Consignor proceeds under $10.00 will be paid in cash. Checks will be available in the store for pick-up at the end of your consignment cycle during normal business hours. If you require checks to be mailed, $2.00 will be deducted from your proceeds.

  • Unsold Merchandise

    Unsold merchandise at the end of the consignment period can be reclaimed or become property of Jackie on Broadway at the discretion of the consignor. All reclaimed items must be removed within one week from the end of the seasonal period. Unsold/unclaimed items not removed from the store within one week will be deemed abandoned and become property of Jackie on Broadway. Please give me a head’s up when you will be coming in to pick up your unsold merchandise so I have time to gather your items.

  • General Liability

    Consignor warrants that they have full title to all consigned merchandise and will not hold Jackie on Broadway liable for any prior claim of title to those items. Jackie on Broadway is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft of merchandise under any circumstance during the term of consignment. This agreement is binding for all future consignments with Jackie on Broadway.
